This magazine is interesting as it is promoting the band Nirvana’s new album but it is also promoting their scheduled appearance at the music festival of Reading. The magazine advert shows on the left the album itself with the CD. This is perhaps just to show off the product and let people know what to look for when trying to purchase the album. The right side of the magazine advert is dominated by a picture of the band. At the front of the picture is lead guitarist and vocalist Kurt Cobain. The picture is of the band at a past live performance. This is to show what can be expected of the band at their performance at Reading festival.
